Colorado Springs Forward is pleased to announce support for candidates in four of our six 2017 City Council district races.
After months of vetting with leaders and business owners from around our entire region, we are confident in recommending these individuals for new leadership in our amazing city.
Leadership within our city is critically important. It matters and must not be taken lightly. Here at Colorado Springs Forward we do not have a slate of candidates. We simply looked at each district and each person running and asked them about their leadership philosophy, their experience in business, their principles on local policies and their intentions for serving this community.
These individuals have never been asked to commit to anything but open communication with their constituents, business-minded consideration of local municipal policies and initiatives and partnerships that may drive economic development to enhance our community. We have asked them to put their experience in their own businesses to work in their decisions on the dais on our City Council and we ask them to serve with transparency and respect for all points of view.
